Wind River Gauging Stations
Ray, SubAgency and Coolidge canals divert water from the Little Wind and Wind Rivers on the Wind River Indian Reservation near Fork Washakie in Central Wyoming. To effectively manage this water, the Tribal Water Engineers require accurate and reliable flow data in real time. OneFish designed, installed, and calibrated gauging stations to monitor flow on these three large canals. OneFish also operates a real time telemetry system to provide real time data access on a customized web site.
Flow monitoring at three sites
Ray Canal uses a stage and velocity sensor with a velocity index rating
Coolidge Canal uses a stage and velocity sensor with a velocity index rating
SubAgency Canal uses a stage sensor at a Parshall flume installation
Real time data telemetry and remote data access
Data relayed in real time using cellular data modems
Customized web site presents data updated every 15 minutes
Secure web site requires login for data access
Stations fully operational since the 2015 irrigation season
